SPEED/PINKFILE / 001
CASE 001 / MACHINE ANNOYANCE DIVISION

NOI
CE.

CAPTCHA, BUT THE COMPUTER HAS TO SQUINT.

STATUS
PROOF OF CONCEPT
HOSTILE
TO BOTS.
POLITE-ish
TO HUMANS.
PYTHON / CV / MOTION

Animated noise becomes the challenge, the camouflage, and—because restraint is boring—the tarpit.

NOICE explores CAPTCHA challenges based on motion, noise and distortion rather than another depressing traffic-light census. The goal is resistance against common computer-vision workflows while keeping the human task legible.

The interesting problem is not drawing interference. It is controlling difficulty, validating answers safely and making the hostile layer expensive for automation without making it inaccessible for everyone else.

01 / THREAT

CHEAP
VISION

Static challenges are cheap to capture, classify and replay.

02 / RESPONSE

MOVING
NOISE

Temporal information becomes part of the puzzle instead of decoration.

03 / ATTITUDE

WASTE
BOT TIME

Failed automation can be slowed down instead of merely rejected.
